Struisie, No 8 Whale Rock Robberg Estate, is situated in an attractive security complex, 7km from the Plettenberg Bay town centre. Within close distance of the beach and boasting stunning views of both the bay and Tsitsikamma Mountains, Robberg Estate is a reserve and consequently the trees and indigenous vegetation have been retained. The result is that the bird life is excellent and there is a good chance of seeing Knysna Loeries on the deck of the house. A pair of tiny mongoose live close by and frequently run on to the deck to stand on hind legs peering through the glass doors.

The house is within walking distance of Robberg Beach which provides excellent swimming and beautiful walks along a pearly sand beach. Dolphins are often spotted just beyond the breakers and during the whale season (May to November) numerous whales can be seen.

The entrance gate to the world renowned Robberg Peninsula is a mere 500 meters from the house.
