The town centre of Plettenberg Bay, situated only 7 Km away, offers a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, banks and other amenities.

Activities on offer in and around the bay include Monkeyland (a primate sanctuary), a Bird Park, a walk with elephants, deep sea fishing and diving, whale, dolphin and seal watching, bird watching, Keurbooms River trips, Skydiving and many more.

Beach walks and an endless number of hiking trails along the coast can be undertaken independently. Robberg Nature Reserve offers long and short walks, with breathtaking views over both the bay and the western coastline. The gate is a mere 500 meters from the house.

Both Tsitsikamma and Knysna forests, Tsitsikamma Coastal National Park, The Langkloof, Natures Valley and the town of Knysna, make for easy and enjoyable day trip from Plettenberg Bay.
